1. Agreement
The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the contractual understanding between you and Link Cars Gatwick. By booking a taxi and utilizing our services, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as presented in this agreement.
2. Definitions
The terms "Link Cars Gatwick," "we," or "us" pertain to the service-providing company, while "you" and "your" encompass individuals, businesses, or companies engaging in bookings with us.
3. Booking
3.1 It is imperative to allow sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers with designated check-in times. Link Cars Gatwick is not accountable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unavailability at the scheduled pickup time.
3.2 Ensuring a suitable vehicle size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. A child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
3.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be communicated during the booking process.
4. Prices & Payment
4.1 Our quotes are based on information provided by you and exclude VAT unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify quotes in case of substantial itinerary changes.
4.2 A 45-minute waiting period post-landing and airport parking costs are included. Additional waiting time is subject to standard Link Cars Gatwick rates.
4.3 Confirmation of booking details is sent upon quote acceptance. Any discrepancies unreported to Link Cars Gatwick may result in delays or additional costs.
4.4 Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
5. The Service
5.1 Passengers are responsible for the conduct of everyone on board. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or disturbances caused by passengers.
5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.
5.3 Children should be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.
5.4 Compliance with licensing and insurance passenger limits is mandatory.
6. Cancellations
6.1 Timely notification of cancellations is crucial to avoid charges. Post-dispatch cancellations incur charges based on the driver's time and distance covered.
6.2 Online bookings may incur charges if canceled before dispatch.
7. Liability
7.1 While Link Cars Gatwick strives to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We are not responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.
7.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
7.3 In the event of a breakdown, alternative transportation will be arranged promptly.
7.4 You agree not to hold Link Cars Gatwick liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from actions within your party.
7.5 No party can exclude liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters unenforceable by applicable laws.
8. Termination
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking instantly if a vehicle or driver is endangered. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1 Link Cars Gatwick may subcontract obligations. You may not transfer obligations or rights without written consent.
9.2 Terms and conditions may be amended by Link Cars Gatwick, and changes will be reflected on this page. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect during booking.
9.3 Information is processed per the Data Protection Act of 1988.
9.4 This agreement represents the complete understanding between Link Cars Gatwick and you.
9.5 No third party has enforceable rights under this agreement unless stipulated in writing.
10. Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims beyond this period will not be entertained by Link Cars Gatwick.
